When Damage Can't Wait

A pipe behind the upstairs bathroom wall cracked during a cold snap and by the time we noticed, water had come through the ceiling into the dining room below. We called Five Star that evening and they had a crew out within 45 minutes. They opened up the ceiling to find the full extent of the damage, extracted the water, and set up drying equipment throughout both floors. The whole area was dry within four days and their documentation was sent to our State Farm adjuster before his first visit.

We found mold growing behind the drywall in our finished basement after noticing a musty smell that wouldn't go away. Five Star came out, did air quality testing, and found mold had spread further than what we could see. They contained the area, removed all the affected material, treated the surfaces, and ran air scrubbers for three days. The follow up testing came back clean and our Allstate claim was handled with no issues. Very professional and they explained every step along the way.

They extracted all the water, pulled up the carpet and pad, and set up industrial fans and dehumidifiers. They monitored the moisture levels for five days until everything was dry. Our Liberty Mutual adjuster said the documentation Five Star provided was thorough and the claim went through smoothly.
